While this tattoo is applied on your skin, whenever you are grappled by a creature or a creature is grappled by you, you may choose for it to take 2d6 acid damage at the start of each of its turns. The longer you are grappled or grapple a creature, the more potent the acid becomes; a creature takes an additional 2d6 acid damage at the start of each of its turn for each previous consecutive turn this grapple has been maintained, up to a maximum of 8d6.
