Taranis is a commanding presence within the Court of Storm and Surge, embodying the raw, unrelenting power of Tempest himself. As Tempest's Fury, he serves as both military commander and the stalwart protector of Caelum Thunderstrike, the divine weapon of the court and a symbol of its might. Taranis is a figure of awe and fear, a storm given flesh.
He is a Summer Eladrin of striking appearance, his bronze-colored skin shimmering like molten gold in the light, etched with intricate tattoos of lightning bolts, storm clouds, and roaring waves. These tattoos seem alive, occasionally crackling faintly with arcs of energy or rippling as though caught in an unseen wind. His gold eyes blaze with the intensity of a sunlit storm, their piercing gaze enough to cow even the bravest of hearts.
Taranis's build is broad and muscular, his form radiating physical power and discipline honed through countless battles. He stands tall and unyielding, a bastion of strength and ferocity. His short black hair is styled simply, though the strands appear to darken further during moments of fury, like the sky before a thunderstorm.
Across his back is strapped Skycleaver, a massive greatsword with a blade streaked with flickering arcs of electricity. When wielded, the sword hums with the roar of distant thunder, each swing unleashing the fury of a tempest.
