Sisters Three

Sisters Three , Chronicler of Past Decisions, Archivist of Foresight, and Keeper of Paths Not Taken

The Sisters Three are enigmatic figures of beauty and power, serving as the trusted advisors to the Weavers of Weft and Wane, the rulers of the Court of Yestermorrow, and to True Thomas, the mortal oracle bound to the court. Each sister embodies a facet of the Court's dominion over time and fate, appearing as elegant sylvan women with a radiance that is both enchanting and otherworldly. Together, they oversee the preservation of the Court’s purpose: to record, understand, and weave the threads of past, future, and unrealized possibilities.   Though they are rarely encountered alone, they are known individually as well as collectively.

The Chronicler of Past Decisions

With hair like flames and eyes the color of autumn leaves, the Chronicler embodies the weight and wisdom of the past. Her presence is warm yet solemn, her voice carrying the cadence of ancient stories etched into the very fabric of time. Her garments shimmer with deep reds and golds, like the hues of fading twilight. In her hands, she wields a quill of phoenix feather and an ever-unrolling scroll that captures every choice made, every step taken, every word spoken.   The Chronicler records not just the grand events of history but also the smallest moments, understanding that even the tiniest decision can ripple outward to shape the future. She often acts as the voice of reflection, urging caution to those who ignore the lessons of the past. She is empathetic, yet unyielding in her role; the past cannot be undone, and she reminds others of this immutable truth.

The Archivist of Foresight

The Archivist is as radiant as the dawn, her golden hair flowing like liquid sunlight. Her eyes glimmer with the clarity of morning dew, seeing far beyond the present into the infinite possibilities of what may yet come. She wears silvery white robes flecked with glimmers of starlight, and around her neck hangs a delicate hourglass pendant whose sands move unpredictably, reflecting her mastery over the flow of future events.   She maintains the Codex of Tomorrow, an impossibly intricate tome filled with shifting script that details countless potential futures. The Archivist is a gentle but firm advisor, often cryptic in her guidance, for she knows that revealing too much of the future can unravel it. Those who seek her wisdom must tread carefully, as her insight is both a blessing and a burden.

The Keeper of Paths Not Taken

The Keeper is the most mysterious of the three, with hair as dark as midnight and eyes like the iridescent sheen of moonlight on water. She wears a flowing gown of black and deep indigo, embroidered with faint, shifting lines that represent the countless paths left untraveled. Around her waist is a belt of silver keys, each one unlocking the essence of a choice that was never made.   Her domain is the Echoes of What Might Have Been, a place within the Court of Yestermorrow where unrealized possibilities linger like whispers on the wind. The Keeper speaks softly, her words filled with the bittersweet weight of choices left behind. She is both a guide and a reminder, offering insight into the roads not taken while warning of the dangers of lingering too long in regret.   Together, the Sisters Three ensure that the Weavers’ threads are spun with precision, capturing the interplay of past, future, and unrealized potential. They act as the Court's historians, visionaries, and dreamers, their records and insights shaping the decisions of their enigmatic rulers. Their relationship with True Thomas is particularly unique; they respect him as a mortal who walks the trod of fate yet defer to his role as the voice of the Weavers in mortal lands.   Though they are advisors, the Sisters are also protectors of the Court’s balance. When necessary, they will intervene to prevent the misuse of knowledge, their combined mastery of time and fate making them formidable foes to any who seek to disrupt the Court of Yestermorrow's purpose.   The Sisters Three are the eternal witnesses to the weaving of existence, and their counsel ensures that the Weft and Wane of time flows as it should—unchallenged, unbroken, and ever mysterious.
