Sidhe (SHEE)
The Sidhe are radiant and noble of the Fey, beings of otherworldly beauty and grace who embody the essence of The Feywild itself. Their forms are elegant and ethereal, standing taller than most mortals, with delicate features that seem carved from moonlight and starlight. Their skin often bears a faint luminescence, ranging from pale silver to the soft hues of dawn, while their eyes gleam like polished gems—capturing the shifting colors of the Feywild, from the vibrant greens of eternal spring to the cool blues of twilight. Their hair flows like silk, reflecting the hues of nature, from golden sunlight to raven-black midnight, often adorned with intricate braids and woven charms that symbolize their connection to the natural and arcane forces that shape their realm.
The Sidhe are not merely beautiful—they are beings of immense power, whose presence can command awe and reverence. Often courtiers to the ArchFey, they are affected by the fey magic of the courts, their forms often transforming to match the magic and energy of the Court they reside in. However, their nature is as unpredictable as the Feywild itself—capable of both wondrous kindness and merciless cruelty. The Sidhe understand the intricate balance of the fey realms, and their actions are often guided by a complex web of ancient pacts, traditions, and unspoken laws that bind the courts together. The Sidhe are deeply connected to the Fey Courts, with many serving as monarchs, advisors, and champions to the Seelie and Unseelie alike. Within the Seelie Court, Sidhe embody the spring and summer of the Feywild, celebrating beauty, artistry, and the vibrant forces of life. Their grace and charm make them natural leaders and diplomats, though they are not without their vanity and pride. Conversely, in the Unseelie Court, the Sidhe reflect the autumn and winter of the Feywild—focusing on the loss and slumber as the world changes within the seasons, completing the necessary cycle. These Sidhe are no less beautiful and their allure and the dangers they present are no lesser or more than the Seelie.
While the Sidhe are immortal, they are not immune to change. They are deeply bound to the cycles of nature and the shifting seasons, and their moods and motives can fluctuate as unpredictably as the Feywild itself. Many Sidhe form bonds with mortals, drawn by curiosity or genuine affection, but such relationships are fraught with peril.
