Pete is a corgi who was unexpectedly discovered in the party's Shared Backpack. Apparently thrust into the backpack by Fleck Redcloak of the Fate's Fortune adventuring party who possessed one of the connected backpacks, he was pulled out and immediately started yapping, confused and upset. Along with Pete was a letter which read:
Sorry about the dog. It was yapping and going to alert the whole house so I quick tossed it into the bag since I didn’t want to kill it. I’ll get it later, but maybe you’ll get it before me. Sorry if it's just a corpse or if it’s still alive and yapping. Don’t know if it’ll live in there. I’ll get Sammy to clean up any mess it might’ve made.
