Retired Colonel Braydon is a family friend of the D'arlingtons and was invited to the ill-fated ceremony meant to wed Maximillian D'arlington to Lysandrea Isillionthë at the Silver Lodge. He attended with his ward, Eliza Hope, and during a dance with Ilbryen asked if any of their company would be interested in wedding Eliza. He said that he fears that he has few social gatherings such as this to help find her a spouse. He offered a "fair" dowry for any that would wed Eliza.
