Miasmara Nethra

Head Nurse and Surgeon Miasamara Nethra

Miasmara Nethra is the unflinching hand that tends to the rot and ruin of the Court of Blight, a nurse and surgeon whose expertise lies not in curing disease, but in controlling and understanding it. As Head Nurse and Surgeon, Miasmara oversees the care of the court’s wounded and infected, her touch steady and unyielding even as her patients writhe under her ministrations. But her duty does not end with flesh—she tends to the blight that ravages the court’s vegetation as well, ensuring that the spread of decay remains contained and, where necessary, repurposed. In her hands, disease becomes a tool, and infection a means to maintain balance, for in the Court of Blight, even suffering serves a purpose.   Miasmara’s appearance is that of a nurse and healer, white robes and hood, though often dirty with grime and viscera of her work. Her face is hidden beneath a mask, allowing on her eyes to be seen. Her eyes, a murky shade of mossy green, seem perpetually clouded, yet they miss nothing—piercing through layers of infection and decay with clinical precision. Her fingers, long and slender, are perpetually stained with the residue of her work—dark, sticky fluids that cling to her like a badge of honor.   Miasmara’s treatments, while effective, are brutal and unyielding, designed to draw out infection through pain and purge the body of weakness. She cuts away decay with the precision of a master surgeon, her scalpel slicing effortlessly through flesh and vine alike, ensuring that the corruption is contained before it can spread. But Miasmara does not simply excise rot—she repurposes it, weaving the diseased remnants back into the cycle of life and death that defines the Court of Blight. Where others see ruin, she sees renewal, and her work ensures that even the most afflicted beings can serve a purpose, whether through survival or through transformation.   Her touch extends beyond flesh and blood to the very roots of the Court. When blight takes hold of the vegetation that forms the heart of the Court of Blight, it is Miasmara who tends to the afflicted growths. She moves through the withered gardens and rotting groves like a grim caretaker, pruning diseased branches and nurturing the fungi and moss that thrive on decay. Her understanding of plant life and its relationship to rot is unparalleled, and she ensures that the balance between death and renewal is never disrupted. Though her hands may cultivate rot, they also safeguard the fragile equilibrium that keeps the court thriving amid corruption.
