Born to a generic succubus family or unnoteworthy standing. She exists as one of the demons that has memories of both timelines of the Infernal Depths. The ones without memories of The Fell Demon King Charles VIII saving the Infernal Depths by dooming it kind of stuck with a serious case of "not actually existing"--which causes them all sorts of issues and problems in their eternal unlife in the Infernal Depths.. not just the standard time of these problems of standing in line for the Infernal Depths DMV (Nobody knows why the Infernal Depths has a DMV--it just appeared one day, and roughly once a year you will wake up inside it, and must pass the tests to get out). The ones that do not have memories that do not have The Fell Demon King Charles VIII are treated as Charles Specials
She was working her life a small time Succubus when the court Seers of The Fell Demon King Charles VIII foretold of events that Ashbethlynn would be mistreated and persecuted by the Fell Demon King Charles VIII leading to her over throwing the Fell Demon King Charles VIII. So the Fell Demon King Charles VIII decided the best way to handle things was charge her with treason and sentence her to death in a Kangaroo Court farce of a trial.
After spending a couple centuries dead--demons do not die quite the same--Ashbethlynn decided to take it up as a minor grievance. Which meant constant attempts to poisons the Fell Demon King Charles VIII and sending all kinds assassins to attempt to kill him. Standard rational reactions to minor grievances.
She got upset when informed the Fell Demon King Charles VIII was getting off on it by Fell Demon King Charles VIII's case of Syphilus. His case of Syphilus which had gone demonic from exposure to the Infernal Depths which had also gained sentience as a hive mind as well as rabies. Naturally the Fell Demon King Charles VIII put his Demonic Sentient Hive Mind Rabid Syphilus at the rank of "Grand Vizier"... whom he will constantly ignore every plan the Syphilus has on the grounds that Grand Vizier always tries to double cross the ruler. Which is unfortunate, as despite the Fell Demon King Charles VIII being quite very mad, his case of Syphilus is rather even headed rational and able to come up with some decide ideas. The case of Syphilus has learned to consult the court seers before bringing up ideas, knowing that they will be completely discounted by the Fell Demon King Charles VIII... whose insane unpredictable nature made reverse psychology back fire in weird ways.
This inspired Ashbethlynn to head to the surface, and to bring terror to the masses for the glory of the Infernal Depths. Except she kept being stymied and confounded by a mysterious power... this power of love. A toxic substance towards the Infernal Forces--based upon characterisations of bit characters spread by Bards in their masked performances of Comedy Del'Arts. There were ties to older concepts and ideas--but The Lovers archetype managed to create a toxic gag inducing display that defied everything right with the Infernal Depths. This evil disease that the human youth seemed inclined to suffer from--that killed off the weaker ones, and strengthen the ones it was not fatal towards. It made her curious and wondering how she can use this horrible great evil power of "Love" as her super weapon in the Infernal Depths.
She worked to encourage young couples to feel love via having them sign contracts. From there she worked on modifying and changing the power of love into a version that did not seem to nullify the contracts--and did not result in them dying from their beefed up power of love abilities upon turning into Infernal Denizens from exposures to the forces of hell.
She eventually figured out how to have a force of young female people using the power of love to become her person demonic denizens upon their turn infernal--but also allow other demonic entities the ability to use various technologies based upon the power of love. The Power of Love managed to cause a reflection in the Human Realms with Steam Power--and the Industrial Revolution was a reflection of the Love Revolution in the Infernal Realms
She then knew it was time that she would take down the Fell Demon King Charles VIII. His mad ruling needed to end... because people were getting headaches and it just was not worth the effort following. People felt tired all the time with his idiotic whims controlling the actions of the infernal Realms. What was he going to do today? What he did last week mattered not. It was annoying and irritating--and it was getting old. So--for the crime of being trite and annoying, she sought to put him to death.
She tricked her "Good Garment Girls" into believing their assault was them winning the final battle against evil--and that they were the main force on taking down the Fell Demon King Charles VIII in order to take advantage of how mutable the other word is, when handled by "outsider" forces. With her turned Garment Girls known as The Deflowered Ones working to aid the Good Garment Girls while still appearing antagonistic enough towards the Good Garment Girls to keep them from getting suspicious.
Several of the Good Garment Girls observed her taking down the Fell Demon King Charles VIII... which resulted in them turning into demonic entities with the truth of their existence. Making them into her elite guard of The Irredeemable Harlot Guard. Just on the power of the changing the ruler of the Infernal Realm, observing the true nature of being a Good Garment Girl, their origin of powers being the new ruling force of The Infernal Depths and realising the fight of good vs. evil was never a real fight.
Upon ruling the Infernal Depths she began a technological revolution and redecorated. They say that Lisa Frank died from a life of sin, went to the Infernal Depths, and was revived and made her artwork based upon her inspirations of the Infernal Depths. Except her art lacks enough kittens, unicorns, cyborgs, hearts, bright colours, etc. for it to really be a proper representation.
Due to the extreme changes made in the change over in rulers, it caused a reflection in the human realm. Which is noteworthy as usually the Other Worlds are reflected by the human realms.
When the Masquerade was dropped, peace talks with the Infernal Realms was possible with her at the lead of Great Adversary.
