Eternal Bound

The Eternal Bound is a religion based on an understanding of 6- The Lovers and 20- Judgement, founded on the idea of life and growth through actions. The Bound believe that love is a force stronger than death, that can survive beyond The Grey and allows those to meet one another. They are widely accepted as a religion that helps with weddings and the grave rights of loved ones. There is an assumption among others however that they are pacifists, but that is not true.

Structure

There is no central leadership with the Bound. The most experienced member of the church is the priest in the given area and disputes of religious natures are often settled peacefully without issue. In the event a major decision of the faith must be made, the defer to the guidance of Van' Riram.

Culture

People are generally very accepting of The Bound within their area. Their message of love is widely accepted in all cultures and can often ease tensions between nations if need be. There is a public perception that love means pacifism, but this is not the case for the Bound. They are more than willing to engage in combat if it means to protect those who they care about.

Mythology & Lore

The Bound believe that love is a force that is controlled by 6- The Lovers and 20- Judgement that guides souls towards one another. When one passes on to The Grey , they take a part of that love with them, allowing them to fall in love with their chosen mate in the second life and beyond. For this reason, they believe that Hellions corrupt this love and will hunt them down if found.

Tenets of Faith

  • All decisions, especially those involving love and relationships, are meaningful. These choices shape the soul and contribute to the greater tapestry of existence. Reflect on your actions and their consequences.
  • Life, death, and rebirth are intertwined. Loss and endings are not to be feared, for they are steps toward renewal. Honor these cycles and strive to find beauty in all stages of existence.
