Cult of Broken Walls
The Cult of Broken Walls is a small religious organziation that specifically worships 16- The Tower and 15- The Devil. The cult believes in the upheaval of old ways in order to change into a different form and transform into a better life. The Cult is not very popular due to its association with chaos, but the cult sees chaos as a required part of life in order for change to a better place.
Domain: War, Trickery, Peace
Structure
The cult is broken up into two separate roles of leadership for guidance in change for the better.
- Seekers: Seekers are beings within the cult to travel out in order to experience life and the chaos that it brings in order to change. Master Seekers are quite hard to find as you can imagine, but they move to place to place shaking the foundations for themselves and others who need change in their lives.
- Breakers: Breakers are Seekers who see a problem within a community so vast that they must remain to liberate those who are in need of change. While the cult doesn’t have traditional buildings, they will often form sects of the cult within the problem area until things have “changed”. Granted this change can be peaceful or quite violent, but if change is required, they will do their best to help those enact it.
Culture
While the cult ultimately has good intentions, many view the cult as an overall force of destruction and chaos. The problems they try to fix are often societal ones, such as poverty and suffering, which often puts them in opposition of the governments of wherever they happen to roam to. The Governments as to where they exist tend to treat them quite poorly as a result, since the cult will do whatever is required in order to achieve their goal of change for the better. Granted the “better” can leave the overall situation worse, but as long as the problem they see is fixed, that is their primary concern.
Cosmological Views
The origin of the world is of little concern to the cult, as there are far more problems in the world than solutions. The cult view that 15- The Devil and 16- The Tower purpose is to free the issues of the world in one way or another, and to unbind those who are stuck in their ways to full grow and change.
Tenets of Faith
- A stagnate life is a life of misery. Change is required to grow and furfill ones purpose in life. Be it simple or radical change.
- Confront your desires and additions head on. If freedom requires surrender to such vices, so be it.
- Destruction is simply another form of change. If the working within the existing systems does not allow change, destroy the exisiting systems
