Permanent(?) altered hand
It spreads.. But also gains more power. Now..
It has a max of 6 charges on it. At dawn, roll a D6 to regain charges. This stone hand has a few things it can do with it's magic. When rolling to hit, the + for it is your proficiency modifier times 2. When figuring out your spell DC, it is 8 + double your proficiency bonus.
Ice Punch. For one charge, you can make a melee spell attack. On a hit, it does 1D10+4 cold damage. If you used more than one charge for this attack, add 1D10+4 for each charge expended.
Ice Spike. For one charge, you can make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, it does 1D8+4 cold damage. If you used more than one charge for this attack, add 1D8+4 for each charge expended.
Ice Cone. For five charges, you create a wave of ice. Each creature in a 60 foot cone must make a constitution saving throw. A creature takes 8d8 cold damage on a fail, or half as much damage on a successful one. Any creature killed this way is frozen in ice until it thaws.
Discovery
This “gift” was given when starting the gauntlet within the underground ruins at Figlin's Blunder (in the Black Oak Forest). This either school or cult had a gauntlet where a “chosen one” would lead their team through the trial. If they survived they were given powers to their now, permanently, changed hand. There was old text in there, saying they would then be taken in under the elders, and trained to strengthen their newly given gifts. This was to either possibly make the effects stronger, but it said to also control recharging it without hurting yourself as badly.
Appearance
From the tips of your fingers, coming all the way down to your wrist, is now stone. Your sense of touch isn't hindered though. You feel everything as you normally would, but touching your hand it feels fairly rough and cold like a bit of rock. It is almost twice the size of what your hand was before, and you can feel that weight of it. More so as if it was swollen, notbeing longer fingers or anything. It is a rather dark gray in color stone. Although, sometimes there are very faint and light flickers or streams of a dark, dim blue light going through where your veins were/are.
