The
Cursefather is a figure of myth and legend that deals in the application and removal of curses. The Cursefather resides within a demiplane known as
Burden's Edge.
Description
Appearance
The Cursefather appears as a hunched old man of giant stature leaning on a gnarled staff that at the top curls like antlers around an amethyst eye. He wears a tattered black cloak that is interwoven with crow feathers and chains that clink across the ground as he moves. Decorating the cloak are two crow skulls pauldrons and numerous talismans with symbols associated with curses and to ward off curses. Beneath a feathered hood is a grey wrinkled face, a white cloth blindfold covering his eyes.
Personality
The Cursefather speaks in a slow raspy voice. He is a contemplative entity that does not rush into anything.
History
Era of Man
In 1037 EoM, the
Salvare sought after the cursefather to remove the curse of the black mark. After entering Burden's Edge through
Enbetsu forest, they came face to face with the Cursefather who lifted the curse.

The Cursefather has the ability to manipulate, bestow, and remove curses. He may also be able to gather some information or convey simple messages via crows.
