Other names
The name "Zelda" is not used among the general Hylian population. It's not outlawed for common use, but it would be considered incredibly gauche and is held akin to a noble title. In fact, most Hylians would feel uncomfortable naming their daughter anything that ends with "-lda," which is why some names end with "-lde" instead.
Culture
Art & Architecture
Hylian art and architecture tend to be simple and primarily functional. As many Hylians still live on family farms or work other such labor-intensive livelihoods, careers in the arts are not often encouraged, and the general opinion is that art is "best left to the Zora." Music, however, is held in high regard, due to its longstanding significance in the Hylian religion, although it would again not be considered a viable career.
Coming of Age Rites
It's falling out of practice, mainly due to a lack of any parallel ceremony for young women, but some families still practice the tradition of presenting young men with green tunics on their seventeenth birthdays.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Long, slender pointed ears are seen as very attractive, but modern ideas about body positivity are trying to break down some of the standards.
Relationship Ideals
Although it's not incredibly common, it is not unheard of nor illegal for Hylians to enter relationships with Zora or Rito (this would be considered different than relationships with Gerudo or Sheikah). Some families might disapprove of matches like these, as biological children cannot be produced, but they are not overtly taboo or considered immoral.
