Kiyome no Mai Shirayuki
Tenko Kiyome no Mai Shirayuki (a.k.a. Megumi or Megu)
Megumi was found injured by Maki-Ai Nefirimu as a child of seven.
Little did the future Eternal Empress know that the snow white fox she found was in fact a extremely old and powerful Yokai. Megumi and Maki would end up becoming the closest of friends.
Megumi didn't reveal her true form to the future Empress until until she( Maki) reached her twelfth birthday as a gift to the friend that she came to trust implicitly. Megumi became one of the many unconventional teachers of the future Empress mainly the intricacies of illusion magic and how to best utilize it.
As a good friend of the future Empress, she was the one who helped Maki the most when she was going threw the sensitive puberty years helping her getting a first hand education on the changes her body was going through.
One such occurrence involved Megumi transforming Maki into a fox that resembled her own fox form and then going to one of the few Kabukichōs in the archipelago although never the same one on consecutive days. They would over the course of the entirety of the future Empresses puberty years they have visited every Kabukichō within the islands so many times that Maki was able to acquire preferences. These excursions lead to Maki's physical proclivities.

Personal history
She was the first child in a litter of 24 born to the youngest daughter of the head of the Shirayuki clan. She was always a bit of a rambunctious child always getting into some sort of trouble. She lived a relatively quiet life for her first 800 years of life doing several jobs. When she hit the age of 830 she began to be noticed for her looks by those outside her home and began to realize that she could take advantage of it.
At the age of about 850 she decided to leave her town and look for work outside of her secluded village. She found good work where ever she went and made quite a bit of money in the process. She eventually got the idea of making use of her looks and decided to join a geisha house. Within the house she was quite popular and her coffers overflowed.
Becoming the most popular in the entire house she saw it wise to take up the practice of taking up kenjutsu and taijutsu classes becoming the quite accomplished combatant. She became so accomplished that she would be confident enough to begin preform blade dances as part of her traditional geisha performances.
This was a hit for a good while until she hit the 1000 year mark and her ninth tail emerged. One day she was doing her typical blade dance until one of the patrons of the house mentioned that her gracefulness with a blade cant be coincidence she must have had training.
It was at this point she began to be challenged by warriors. She would humor them and duel them making sure to hold back not to hurt them and if she would hurt them she would use her body as a salve to heal their wounded pride.
Until one day when her opponent who just lost refused to take her up on her offer and attacked her. This caused her to run from her attacker eventually getting injured from one of her attackers. Seeing no other option she shape changed into a small snow white fox to hide from her attackers only to be found by the future Eternal Empress and nursed back to health by her. Kiyome decided to stay by her side as a thank you and they have been friends ever since.
Gender Identity
Kiyome is aware of the separation of Male and Female role is society and was brought up to understand her role in it, but she personally views gender roles as mere guidelines rather than a ridgid structure. Although she accepts her female anatomy and is thankful for it. She often gets bored by it so she normally uses her own magic to modify her own form.
Sexuality
Due to the nature of Kitsune of being immutable beings and their natural affinity for illusionary magic they tend to view sexuality as a grab bag of options. Kitsune have a tendency to sleep around a lot and also have the ability to become impregnated at their own choosing. This is the reason within the Nijion Archipelago most Kitsune tend to work in Kabukichō as workers but never appear to get pregnant for this very reason. In short Kyiome is Omnisexual.
Education
From the age when Kitsune can take a humanlike form they begin their education. This normally starts with the learning of taking of a more human form once that is complete. They begin their formal education of normal subjects as well as extensive education in arcane studies with a heavy emphasis on illusion and manipulation based magic. Kiyome being born into a more aristocratic family would have been taught the more high class society staples such as etiquette, rhetoric, and politics. The education would continue until their third tail would manifest. At this point Kiyome would be left to her own studies as well as be obligated to get employment.
Morality & Philosophy
Like most Kitsune Kiyome is a being of trust and as a being of trust she cares about those she trusts and everyone else is nothing but entertainment for her to watch. The exception to this is other Kitsune. She lives by the philosophy "Help those who help you"
