Red Sister Moria
Moria is one of the youngest Red Sisters, only ahead of Gaelan, Sirana and Jael. She is an obedient follower of Corpora Thena, not only for reason of chain-of-command but that she feels both safest and strongest when part of a group. She is usually seen with Panagan and Suna as well. While not vocal, she acts as decisively as her teammates when dung happens.
Moria was born the youngest of a large, commonblood family serving mostly the Sixth House. There were far more laborers and servants among them than merchants. From an early age, she was ordered to work and serve, and once "middle" siblings and a cousin claimed her, took responsibility for teaching her how to live without much affection, Moria grew up lacking any close bonds that saw any others act in her defense. She grew accustomed to protection and abuse coming from the same source.
When a grown Moria was caught with her "blood group" in a scheme which drew the attention of the Sisterhood, she underwent the same interrogations as her family. Like them, she would tell the Red Sisters everything. Moria never saw any of her group again and was the only one given a choice to accept a "trial" instead of the dungeon or the Drider Pit.
Moria is fully comfortable being the youngest aggressor in a focused group of aggressors, where she quickly settled into the Sisterhood after her trials. Panagan being the closest to her in age, she finds it natural to follow her lead if Suna or Thena aren't there. She responds quickly to loud commands or harsh gestures and can be very vicious copying her betters, making her acceptable to the Prime, but only just. Her Elders don't expect her to live too long but she's useful to build their numbers in a time of need.
