(Gay'-lan Paul-ee-nee-dah'-ra), , is a Davrin Elf born in Sivaraus.
Gaelan is a Red Sister with mage training prior to joining the Sisterhood, particularly in making potions. She has maroon-red eyes and keeps her hair medium length, tied back, and low maintenance.
Background
Gaelan was born a commoner in the middle-class mercantile section of Sivaraus, as the eldest daughter of three. Her mother, Polynia, was a potion maker catering to Nobles and commoners alike, and it was likely crossing the wrong Noble House which led to her entire family being arrested by the Red Sisters. She was the only one offered the trials instead of the dungeon.
Current
Gaelan is one of the newest Sisters in the Cloister, only five turns past her trials, and technically under Lunent Nylell, a fellow mage. The Elder Sorceress D'Shea, however, is taking a firm and direct hand in her training and not trying to hide it, with Lead Jaunda guiding her practical progress for reasons of reporting to her Elder. No one is challenging this dynamic, although Elder Rausery makes note.
