Professions
Professions are an optional rule intended to serve as guides or goals for a character. They usually consist of a list of requirements, a reward, and a slight modification to your place in the world. Characters who meet all requirements for a Profession receive its Reward – usually rare equipment, and unlock the right to purchase exclusive Abilities. The first four are more general archetypes and may be attainable by new characters, while the rest are more specialized and require intensive training which might not be available during character creation.
