Extreme magic zones are places where a huge amount of mana has gathered and gone wild and caused some kind of phenomenon. Extreme magic zones are more often than not regarded as dangerous zones that one should not enter under any circumstances, but in certain cases extreme magic zones may be benefitial although very rarely.   Extreme magic zones' intensity depends on the already existing conditions of the area and the amount of mana in the air. 
Extreme magic zones may have many different effects; Altering the weather in extreme ways, causing frequent natural disasters, accelerating growth of plant, rapid spawning of monsters, etc.
