Dungeon leaks occur when a dungeon has been left alone for a long amount of time and the pressure of mana in the dungeon has built up beyond a certain threshold. When a dungeon leak happens the dungeon has to get rid of all the access mana, therefore it sends out all of it's monsters outside the dungeon and creates even more monsters with the excess mana. Dungeon leaks can be disastrous depending on the rank of the dungeon. If a high rank dungeon has a dungeon leak it can lead to the downfall of one or more countries, if it's the dungeon leak of an SS rank wild dungeon it can even cause humanity to go on the brink of exstinction. Meanwhile E and D rank dungeon leaks are insignificant, they can't build up enough mana for them to spawn enough monsters to be threatening and the monsters are weak. An E rank dungeon leak can be taken care of by a small village, while a D rank dungeon leak can easily be taken care of by a small veteran group of adventurers.
