The demons is the race that occupies the twisted Demon realm. The demons is a race that are inately hierarchial. Every demon that is born is placed into the hierarchy based on their strength.
Demons are both the weakest and the strongest race. Due to there being such a big difference between the strongest and weakest of the demon race, even more than the humans.
Demons have one of the highes lifespans of every sapient creature on par with the high elfs, second only to dragons. An avarege demon lives to 1200 years old, although most die earlier due to their fascination of battle.
A demons strength is already determined at birth. A demon won't grow stronger physically and won't be able to get more or more refined mana. The only way a demon can improve their fighting capability is through experience and techniques.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The anatomy of demons can vary greatly depending on the demon and the rank. Higher ranking demons tend to have a more human look.  All demons have at least two hearts, higher ranking demons may have more.

Genetics and Reproduction

Demons are androgynous. Demons do not have any offspring. Rarely in the Demon realm a big amount of mana gathers and condenses into a living creature, this is what is called a demon, although similar it's different to how a magic beast is born. Demons are rarely born and therfore have a long lifespan instead.

Growth Rate & Stages

Demons do not grow. When they are born they are already fully developed. The only growth they will experience is knowlede wise.

Ecology and Habitats

This species can thrive in any enviornment as long has it has mana. Demons live off of mana, when they've had their fill they can go over 3 months without refilling on mana, although after 2 weeks they get weaker and weaker.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Demons live off of mana. They absorb the mana through air and live of it. As long as there is mana they don't even need air. Demons will sometimes go to the true realm to hunt for fun. Demons can also get man through eating other creatures that have mana in them.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Depends greatly depending on the demon. Some demons have the inate talent of magic sense, allowing them to feel the flucuations in the mana.
