Screaming Knot vine

A large Knotted vine often used as rope or bowline. When stewed it creates an antiseptic brew that dulls the senses but suppresses the effects of certain painful diseases. It gets its name from the sound a person makes when they become tangled and knotted up in it due the fine thorns running its length. When boiled the vine can be stripped to its core and used as a very strong bow string. the boiling also gives of a high pitched wail.
