Mistflare City The Mistbourne City

Following a great cataclysm, the last bastion of life lies in a single city, with a great beacon of light at it's center. Following the creation of a mysterious new energy source by Octavia Billinghurst, Mistflare City experienced it's own industrial revolution, completely transforming the city from a simple kingdom of stone and dirt to a massive, 7-tiered, metal and concrete city. However, following this massive expansion and the seeming disappearance of Octavia, the city has entered a dark age. Billinghurst's company has grown into a corporotocracy, controlling every aspect of life in the city, from the church to the police. While the upper levels remain a paradise, the lower levels have become increasingly desperate for food and supplies. This is only exacerbated by a major plague, pressure from the city's government, and the rise of a new cult of Mist worshippers. The city is on the brink.
