The Blasted Lands

These lands are the remains of a small country that were forced to war with the Magocracy to the north 2 millennia ago. The Magocracy were more powerful, but the Blasted Lands defended themselves to the point where the land was blighted with magic. Now shades rise every night to haunt those that are within the borders of the Blasted Lands.

Rumors of structures appearing within the Blasted Lands have persisted, but to date no one has been able to explore them as they are gone by the time anyone reaches them. Most believe that the structures are mirages created by the residual magic.
