Normally, in the virtual world of the Eversky, just about everyone can fly—some with wings ("flappers") and some without ("floaters"). But a hacker has decided that even in this virtual world flight should have a physical basis, and has hacked the world to make it so that only the flappers can fly—and the wingless are grounded. Most everyone else in the Eversky is very unhappy with this situation, not least the Fair Folk, an anarchic group of mischief-makers who sufficiently disapprove of the hacker's actions to actually get serious for once. The Fair Folk are determined to reverse the hack and punish the hacker—and they want the PCs' help.
