A resident of a small town tells a friend about a strange recurring dream they have been having—only to find that that friend has been having similar dreams. It turns out that many people in this town have been having the same kind of dream... and things escalate when one of the people who has been having those dreams is found dead from mysterious causes. If the PCs investigate, they find that all of the people experiencing those dreams have been going to the same dentist. It turns out that dentist is actually an endumate, one of the alien invaders of Meliauth, and she's been implanting strange magical devices in her patients' teeth that connects those patients' minds into a magical network to efficiently gather numen. Clearly this process has unpleasant side effects for the patients, but the dentist doesn't care about that. How can the dentist be stopped—and what happens if she isn't?
