Orvzen
Overview
Orvzen is a frozen rogue planet, which is predominantly subteranean ocean. Its exterior is covered in miles of oxygen ice, from the freezing of the atmosphere it once had before it was knocked out of its orbit. The planet has been adrift in starless space for over 33,000 years.General Overview
Orvzen is a rogue planet that was once a terrestrial earth-like world, with great geologic activity, from major volcanic eruptions to major earthquakes. It was flung from the orbit of its binary star system due to the trajectory of a red dwarf star that entered the solar system and disrupted the delicate gravity, and altered Orvzen's own orbital trajectory. Those that once lived upon its surface, naturally fled into space, but left only vestiges of themselves behind in the forms of buried ruins, and other shadows of what once was. For this, they are called the Dashoda, or The Shadows. Since their departure, and Orvzen's being flung from its stars, the surface temperature of Orvzen dropped dramatically until the atmosphere itself turned into ice and snow and the very surface of Orvzen was encrusted in an eternal winter. In the deep of its oceans, however, the planet is still very much alive with geologic activity, and hydrothermal vents continue to provide refuge to the smallest, and most hearty of life, which goes on without even knowing that they've been without their stars, orphaned in space for the past 33,000 years. Orvzen does, however, feature several underwater caverns, chasms, and terrestrial mountains, canyons, volcanoes and trenches in addition to being the world that contains a pocket of bright life and hospitality within its subteranean ocean – Mirsivna, home and domain of the god Mirsip and all their children.About
