Sabbat

Opposite the Camarilla you can find the Sabbat, a sect of Vampires who abandoned their humanity. Most vampires outside the sect thinks, that the sabbat comprises mindless, axe-swinging barbarians, infernalists and everything else a vampire might fear.

Of course, this is stupid nonsense.

Unlike the Camarilla, the Sabbat believes in Caine and the Antediluvians . They think of themselves as the army that Caine will use to destroy the Antediluvians when Gehenna arrives.

Structure

The Sabbat is way more strictly organized than the Camarilla. It consists mainly of Tzimisce and Lasombra, as well as numerous antritribu from other Clans.

Usually Sabbat vampires sire Childer as their Camarilla counterparts, and they are no less picky about them. But during times of open war, they rely on Mass Embraces to create Shovelheads, which are considered False Sabbat. They usually don't survive their first weeks and are not respected within the sect. Only if they prove themselves worthy several times, they are formally introduced to the sect and go through the Creation Rites to become True Sabbat.

Usually the Sabbat is organized into Packs, which consist of 3 - 10 vampires which are bound to each other due to the Vinculum. The pack's warleader is the Ductus, while the Priest reminds the pack on their spiritual responsibility to Caine. The whole pack usually shares one haven, which is remarkable, since most Vampires don't like to stay close to others.

The region of former Fürth is completely controlled by the Sabbat. There are currently four packs of Sabbat vampires living in that region of Varenburg.
