A paper on how the 'Enchantment' placed on the candy of Candy Mountain came to be, by using waters from the river Lethe to create a candy that was then used as a focus in a ritual to 'enchant' the candy. Eating the candy eventually causes one to forget who the eater was and all their memories, though at first it causes addiction and paranoia.
