The use of Arrows

The people entrusted with training the new soldiers for the Imperial armies sometimes have to dumb down some of their teachings to get the message through.
One of the most repeated is by those who train the archers in the legions, when the recruits are being given the arrows or bolts for their bows and or crossbows, their instructors will take an arrow and announce to the recruits "Feathery end towards you, pointy end towards the enemy"
