Moonbright beach
At the end of the Jade river, lies the Moonbright beach, a 10 km long beach on the coast of the Grand Republic of Qick. The Moonbright beach is known for its coloured waters and white sand.
In the last few hundred years the Beach has become a favoured spot for the Royal families of the different nations to spend some vacation, so scattered along the beach but at a distance as to not disturb the beauty of the beach a handful of palaces are located.
Geography
The beach is located at the end of a peninsula with the Jade river running down the middle, it is surrounded by the southern sea of Mirateia and a small row of hills at the end of the peninsula, this gives the effect of a hidden feeling for those who live there.
Localized Phenomena
on certain days every year, when the moon is right the white sand on the beach will reflect the light and it will create a wall of white light down the beach.
The legend goes that this is a result of some magic ritual by the moon elves who used to live in the area, others believe that it's just a natural phenomenon.
Fauna & Flora
In the land between the beach and the hills, lots of birds and insects can be found here, but the most famous animal that can be found here is some squirrel-like creatures called Kopidodons.

Natural Resources
A rare resource to be found on Moonbright beach is after a thunderstorm, locals will go down to the beach to see if the lightning has struck the sand, if that's the case Fulgurite would form and the locals would then be able to dig it up and turn it into very valuable jewellery.

History
The beach is named after a tribe of Moon elves that is said to have been living in the area long ago.
The beach is first mentioned in records dating back to the migration period, where the beauty and the magical feeling of the beach are mentioned.
