Lumiloom

Lumiloom in its natural state is found in the deep valleys of the Empire of Dercia where it takes the shape of a natural substance that can be found in certain plants that are commonly known as Luminarum, these plants grow in the valleys most of the year around and therefore makes a steady resource of candle material and likewise a steady income for those who make a living of gathering the plants.
These plants possess luminescent properties, emitting a soft, steady light, especially in the dark.
- Laurus Imbrex, plant gatherer
Lumiloom candles are widespread but as the plants the material is not suitable for cultivation other than in its wild state, the material is unable to supply the entire Empire with candles, so it remains a regional item. Although one of the main things it has over competitors like Sunstones is that they are cheaper and that it's possible to add scents to the material during the process to create scented candles.
