Hokiway

Hokiway is a spice imported from the Pestax region in the Kingdom of Thynin to the rest of Mirateia.
It is possible to get Hokiway in two forms, and a merchant can purchase it in its complete form, which is long dried leaves. This option is generally considered the best way to transport the spice over short distances. The other option is that the merchant can purchase it in powder form, typically the most popular form for merchants, as they can have more of the spice in their cargo holds.
The name Hokiway is believed to mean hot air in the local language, as the Hoki part of the name means flame in an old form of the local language, and "Way" can be translated into air or space depending on the context. Linguists are still debating topics like this as not many texts are found with this language in its old form.

Hokiway can be used in its natural shape fresh from the plant and is used by the locals this way, but for people further away, the leaves will be dried and transported or dried and ground into a powder.
