SESSION 3.5 Downtime

General Summary

Reed

During his first week Reed goes to the library and learns more about the feywild such as how dangerous the monsters are there and how if one doesn't have fey blood within them they also forget their entire time in the feywild. Afterwards he goes to try and get more information from Daisy and although unsuccessful for the most part she tells him about a glowing mushroom village with locals that may potentially help him out. During the second week Reed decides to leave some alchemy mixes for Jessica to watch while he goes to make a sale. The sales pitch doesn't go as planned however he does intrigue a gnome by the name of Yaboo. Yaboo exclaimed that he wanted the greenbottle special but didn't have much gold to buy it with so he offered an abracadabacus as well. Reed accepted the offer and then inquired about Yaboo's magical sack. Yaboo said that he owns a magic shop by the name of Yaboo's Yahoos in the major port city of Jahm. As quick as he showed up Yaboo teleported away in an instant.

Rowan

During Rowan's first week he wrote another letter to Sylvia and asked her about the book and how her business was doing. To which she replied...“I am doing well, thanks for the book, it really brings me back. The business is booming actually! My sticky fingers aren’t what they used to be, but I’m definitely still making headway. As for scams...hmm, yes and no. Not actively but I’ve definitely been upcharging the hell out of poor suckers. Oh also this may interest you, if you’re ever in the area, there’s a woman here who I think might interest you!, she’s a tarot card reader...and a damn good one at that. I thought she was a scammer like us, but her reading was scarily accurate...I know tarot cards were your thing so I thought I’d mention it. Anyway, tootles for now, don’t be a stranger and stop by some time!” After finding out that his friend is doing well, he decides to hit up the brothels and wrote and posted reviews for his newest conquests.

Carvey

During Carvey's two weeks he went to his village to donate gold (100) and some equipment. In exchange for giving so much gold, the village elder gave him his Elven Curve Blade which is an heirloom that the village has held ever since its beginnings. Afterwards he travels back to Askr and checks in the Pryce at the guards barracks. Impressed that he has made iron rank so quickly, Pryce tells him about a village named Aed to the west. He says that the village elder has heard complaints from the farmers and gatherers that it has become very dangerous near the cave since the monsters appear to have been spilling out as of late. Pryce then tells Carvey to bring his crew and ask the elder for more details. 

Ren

During Ren's two weeks he first goes around learning the basic layout of the town as well as some major facilities. He finds a majority of his information in the library and then begins looking for books on the Cavern of the Void. He finds one however aside from it's basic geological location and that it's a cave of mysterious origins, doesn't find out much. He asks the librarian where he might acquire more information about it and she directs him towards Theodore at the AA guildhall.  He thanks for for the info but before he leaves also checks out a book by the title "The Seven Wonders of Askr". 

Zenaster

During Zenaster's two weeks he uses the first week to learn about the city and how it operates, much like Ren did. However even though grateful for the free boarding with the party, he disliked the cramped living conditions so he decides to use his musical talent to acquire a free stay at a local inn as long as he performs each night. As for his second week he couldn't keep his sticky fingers in check so he decides to look for a chance to make a quick buck. Due to some investigating he found out about a merchant who seems to leave his cart unattended at night due to thinking his security box couldn't be breached. After taking the necessary measures, Zenaster set out to begin his theft. Everything seemed to be going as planned until he got to the merchants security box which seemed to give him a bit more trouble than he had hoped. Taking too long a fellow thief by the name of Suel showed up. Suel was interest in Zenaster and asked if he would be interested in a heist of sorts on a manor in the high class district. Interested in the proposal Zenaster agreed and Suel said that he can usually be found in "Of Ale and Glory" a bar in the slums.
