Veles

Veles is the god of change, trickery, illusions, and loopholes. They are barely tolerated among the other gods and are said to spend most of their time wandering the material plane. While they are not evil they are often associated with devils and demons because of their deceitful ways - even if it is in good fun it is usually just fun for Veles. It is said that the reason they actually wander the material plane is that they were banished from the heavens after tricking Mazu to sleep with them (or so Mazu and Agir say).
Veles has recently become more accepted among the citizens of Eckril and the Southern Seas due to their temples being havens for those wishing to change their body. Transgender worshipers are common among Veles' clerics but they provide the services of body changing to anyone who can complete a seemingly random task/quest for them. This service is heavily regulated in Eckril to only be for gender-confirming transformations but outside the laws of the First Island - where the laws on shapechanging are few - more radical transformations are said to take place.
Veles is has found a cult following in those who rail against systems of hierarchy. Those seeking to uncover lies, spread the truth, and promote massive social change may find themselves worshiping Veles.

Veles is inherently a shapechanger and their avatar will take on a variety of forms. However, Veles does have favorites one of the most common is a fey-like form of blue skin, rainbow hair, and ever-changing tattoos.
