Merimas Stumbletoe is the captain of the Century Sparrow located in Silverward. He works primarily as a smuggler, ferrying goods on behalf of customers that prefer discretion. He has had, on more than one occasion, been forced to dump his cargo lest he be detained by imperial authories.

He has a short, scruffy brown beard and a face that appears confident, but is hiding something at the same time.

He always finds himself chewing on something, and he starts to get jittery if he doesn't have something in his mouth.
Apparel & Accessories
Merimas wears a knee-length brown traveler's coat with large pockets on either side that he keeps bits of straw in for chewing. He wears a reddish shirt underneath, concealing a small chainmail vest. One can never be too careful.
He wears a dagger at his hip, always at the ready.

In his youth, Merimas served as a soldier in the military of the Rugalla Dynasty. After several years of service, and several run-ins with disciplinary actions, Merimas found himself court martialed and without a job. However, his experience in the military, coupled with the underworld contacts he had made, made him an ideal smuggler. He has been doing that ever since.
