The History of Minecraftia so far
The Ancient Builders, a race of humans of the distant past. It is said that they built many structures which stand on the surface. They were believed to be the closest to gods. For some reason, they vanished without a trace.
The Karo, an ancient race of humans said to have originated from the hellish Nether world. What little is known about them is that they were a barbaric tribe who appeared to have an affinity with magic. It is believed that they may have warred with the Ancient Builders in the past, although if they had it likely contributed to their downfall.
The Lurken, a race of humans that are believed to have dwelled beneath the surface. Although there are signs of them existing in recent times, few people know about them. It is said that the Lurken were masters of redstone engineering and may have had a role in teaching the new generations of humanity its use.
The Testificates, a race of humans that went extinct in the past. They supposedly were the inventors of iron golems, and possessed large settlements with thriving economies. According to ancient texts, they also had really large noses. Whatever else they were renown for they took to their graves.
Current Species & Cultures
The Diamonders, a culture of humans that reside within the Diamond faction. They value the physical strength and the mental maturity of others. Most warriors are a part of this culture. There are also some that hold traditional values from ages long past that many see as controversial.
The Grifters, a culture of humans that reside within the Griefer faction. They are often self-centered and use manipulation to get their ways. Although many are good-hearted, due to the high number of bad eggs and the infamous corruption of their government, grifters have a bad reputation across the Overworld and often stereotyped.
The Redstoners, a culture of humans that reside within the Redstone faction. Redstoners are curious by nature and seek to find answers to their questions. They often think from a logical point of view. They are known for their redstone prowess and many famous professors were a part of this culture.
The Builders, a culture of humans that reside within the Builder faction. Not to be confused with the Ancient Builders, Builders tend to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. They are artists at heart and desire to build creations to express themselves. Because of this, many places within the Builder faction are considered to be the go-to places for leisurely vacations.
The Sapia, a mysterious and secluded culture of humans exclusive to one specific jungle. They consider themselves the servants of a god known as the Patron, and devote themselves to him. Whatever they do is often what they see as for the good of humanity. They have much bargaining power with the nations of the Overworld due to the shamans' ability to craft items ordinary people are unable to craft.
The Huolians, a secluded culture of humans found in the island archipelago of Huola. They are a territorial people who are often at war with each other. They enjoy festivals and partying to pass the time.
The Illagers, a barbaric culture of humans that can be found on the outskirts of the known world. They view themselves as superior to the other races of humans and seek to take power from them. They value power and believe the strongest should lead.
The Piglin, a brutish species of pig people that reside in the Nether. Fiercely territorial, they are hostile against anyone they see as a trespasser, although they will tolerate trespassers who show respect for their culture. They value close connections to each other and are often more loyal to their clans than their greater government.
The Rened, a mysterious and secluded species of what were once humans, before they moved into the End dimension and transformed over the generations. They are a people that worship the Void as the creation deity of the End and believe Minecraftia to be a blight against their god. They value chorus fruit above all else.
