Post-War Years After Joseph’s death and Lucian’s execution, Natalia took on the responsibility of caring for her younger brother, David. She hoped to rekindle their relationship, but her pragmatic approach often clashed with David’s emotional struggles.
David’s descent into a dark mental state and his eventual emotional numbness strained their bond. Natalia tried to help him, but her lack of emotional insight left her feeling helpless.
The Crown and the Desperation When David ran away, Natalia was devastated. Believing she had lost the last connection to her family, she made a desperate decision: she accepted the crown of the Diamond Kingdom in exchange for the resources to track David down. Reunion with David A year after David’s departure, he was returned to Natalia under bittersweet circumstances. Their reunion was complicated by the presence of Donald, an eleven-year-old boy David had taken under his wing.
Bonding with Donald Initially dismissive of Donald, Natalia viewed him as a liability. However, after Donald saved her life, she began to see him in a new light. She opened up to him about her insecurities, including her fear of becoming like Lucian, and promised to treat him as family.
