Vanararajya

An ancient kingdom of Vanara that had a short reign in the 2nd milenium.

History

Pre-History

Throughout the Koria Dynasty various simple Vanara tribes lived in the mountains along the central portion of the continent. These tribes were small and generally indepedant, occasionally meeting to trade, but overall living in isolation.

Tamboli Dynasty

A strong-willed vanara named Bhaskar from the Azad Tribe came forth with the goal of uniting all the various tribes under a single leader, himself. He believed it was his destiny, and by either word or sword one by one the tribes fell and united into a single nation. The dynasty lasted for three centuries passing from father to son, until Bhasker Tamboli VI fell ill and perished in his early years. After his passing, the kingdom fell apart, each individual tribe seperating and going back to its roots.

Disbandment

The last leader of the Tamboli line, Bhasker Tamboli VI died very young and childless thus ending the dynasty. Without their divine ruler, the various tribes broke into infighting and the nation slowly dissolved.
