Aettnas Wyrmbane
"Wyrmbane" being a title inherited from a distant ancestor of the young man, who's devoted his studies towards fulfilling his childhood fantasies of one day being a great adventurer. However, a lack of confidence and competence eventually won out in the end, and he'd failed to achieve victory in his trials to join the Pathfinder Society. Cast out and dejected, he took a desperate bargain from an infernal source:
"Allow me the use of your body, and I shall ensure your training and education reach heights of which you've never dreamed. Allow me to fulfill my mission on the material plane, and you shall rise a champion."
Aettnas gladly accepted, only to black out on the spot and wake up... cold, and immobile. He found himself inside the scabbard of his own body, now a blade whose edge is as black as ink, without the telltale gleam of metal from an ordinary sword. Inside the man once known as Aettnas laid a new, otherwordly presence: a devil, who simply calls itself Fracture.
Fracture's goals are unclear, but they lie at the heart of the school to which Aettnas is now enrolled, the entry exam passed in flying colors. What the two of them hope to achieve remains yet to be seen.
