Kuo-Toa

Also known as "Gogglers" and "Men-Fish", the Kuo-Toa are a debased, fish-like race of amphibious creatures that dwell in the Midterran Underdeep. Sinister secrets lurk below the surface of their alien minds, for the Kuo-Toa are fanatics plagued by mental instability of detrimental consequence. Kuo-Toa are known for seeing things others could not and worship beings that dont exist - at least until they believe hard enough. Likewise so does their grasp of magic too stump the practical mind. Perceived as no real threat, the rest of the denizens of The Underdeep give these fish-folk a wide berth for obvious reasons.
