Harkan Hammerhand

Harkan Hammerhand is the self proclaimed ruler of the Dwarves of the Underdeep. Harkan has taken to titling himself as the Under King, perhaps as a slight jab towards King Grumni Borekkson. Harkan is a harsh ruler who prioritizes the safety of his kin at whatever cost. He believes that his duties in dealing with the Afflicted of the Red Eye plague and the defense of the Underdeep entrance to Makkaam to be of the higest calling. While not on a journey of conquest, Harkan does use his forces to fiercely defend their borders with the rest of the Underdeep. This has created an air of paranoia to outsiders who stumble into the Underdeep without invitation, often times leading to a simple answer to these simple problems. *wink wink*
