Faith in Midterra

Organized religion is something of a side note within Midterra. Those who philosophize on the topic agree that something placed them there. Someone or something is responsible for the everyday. While there hasn't been direct interaction with any pantheon or god, the existence of such is undeniable. That was until a little under 40 years in the First Age, when powerful otherworldly entities started making themselves known in Midterra. Stories are told of strange travelers appearing from nowhere to aid in a matter, only to disappear just as quick. Many people believe to have experienced something of the same for themselves as well. For now though, faith in higher power remains ambiguous at best.
