Cult of Ran

This faction is known in the northern realms for being mostly peaceful. They believe that their deity, "Ran", is the chosen disciple of an ethereal race that lives on another plane of existence. They are devout and ever faithful as they have all claimed to have seen or heard their deity. While some of their practices are deemed too extreme for the regular folk, they generally do not press their zealous doctrine on outsiders. Those that find themselves a part of this cult are members for life. Those who try to escape are found again to be completely different people later on.
