Stormreign

Why did I follow Stormreign? You know, I can't put the feeling I felt back then into words. You were not there when she spoke of our traditions, our birthright, our people. I knew immediately that I could follow this dragoness to ends of the world. Her words rang through with us, and we all craved conquest as if Strife himself spoke through her.

Stormreign has sparked a rebellion against Mud dragons whose presence at that time was overreaching for several decades. Many fire dragons have rather taken steps to make concessions in regards to territory rather than actively fight the new tribes and shelters their invaders built within their rightful homes.

History

Some stories tell that this dragoness was hatched without a father, others suggest her father died before she was born. Regardless, both accounts agree that her mother who was a Dreamweaver raised her on her own. The young dragoness sparked the war and called upon the majority of the young dragons in 700 AA. Old tablets recording the event suggest that it was because a Fire dragon was found dead within one of the Mud dragon villages.

The War

Her campaign was largely successful as she proved to be an inspiring leader, despite her not actively engaging in combat herself. Not only has her forces been able to retake all of the formerly lost territory, they didn't stop there and started pillaging and claiming territory that was de jure of the greatest Mud dragon tribes, such as the Reed Tribe. This has proved to be a fatal mistake for Stormreign as she was found dead shortly after settling in Scavenger Peaks in Fertilan 701, her personal guards and slaves never found again.

Conclusion

The War ended on Freezan 702 at a standoff, her mother signed a treaty returning territories Fire dragons previously owned to them and Mud dragons claiming the lands of Scavenger peak back. Stormreign left behind two 1 year old hatchlings, their names and fates forgotten by the history. Some sources even suggest that she never had a true mate, others that her mate died with her on the day of her assassination.
