Being a Clawstopper means you need to forget about empathy. Same as you can't empathize with prey you hunt, you can't empathize with victims of Freighorns. Trying to save them during an active attack will only put you, yourselves in danger and thus while you are injured or dead, you risk the lives of many more members of your new tribe.Shark tutoring young Clawstoppers about the importance of staying cautious during Freighorn attack. Shark, formerly known as a Barracuda, and as a hatchling known as Seaweed. His latest name was given to him for his long-standing services in regards to the protection of Shark tribe (Formerly known as Barracuda tribe) as a Clawstopper and totalling a grand total of 18 successful slayings of Freighorns. His reputation has preceded him and surrounding tribes have taken note of his great talent, sending their young to his tribe for tutoring on how to become a Clawstopper. Nowadays, Shark rarely leads expeditions outside of his own territory to slay Freighorns and only actively participates in hunts when one is spotted or approaches the draconic territory. Due to his scarred hindleg, he is not as fast as he used to be and in Chase participates only passively in a secluded and secret location with his favorite mate Leatherback.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Scarred hindleg - painful for him to move it too fast, thus his movements under or above water are slower. Otherwise he is still keeping himself fit.
Body Features
His body is covered in a series of green-emerald and stripes of dark green-brown. His muzzle is spotted with three darker green dots along his cheeks and his wings also have several of these dots.
All the dark-green spots on his body can be brightened up and used for communication in Seaspeak underwater or in dark areas.
As all water dragons, he has no horns but instead frills running along his ears, all his frills and membranes are near yellow-brown
Identifying Characteristics
His scarred hind-leg. A series of small broken scales along his forehead and shoulders from old injuries. Unusual orange eyes
Apparel & Accessories
Whenever possible, he wears a necklace of 16 of his 18 killed Freighorns. The reason why it is 16 is because he only started pulling their teeth as trophies starting with his third kill.

Personal history
In 868 his second name, Barracuda was awarded to him for his exceptional speed and combat prowess. He quickly learned how to become a junior Clawstopper and had a natural knack for patience and trap-making.
877, Barracuda was well-known and well-respected within his community and so it was no surprise he was honored as a full-fledged Clawstopper.
878 The former leader of Barracuda's tribe was killed under odd circumstances right after a Chase. The general consensus at the time was that he suffered a heart attack. The council of females decided to name Barracuda as their new leader.
882 Barracuda's leadership has proven to be excellent and his recent obligatory lessons on how to avoid harm during Freighorn attacks have reduced the amount of unnecessary life loss. As such a council of females granted him his third name - Shark.
886 Shark's services were furthermore recognized amongst the neighboring tribes and in a tribute to his longstanding services, females have reconvened a day after the Fertilan's Chase to grant him the title of Clawmaster.
893 Shark was injured by Freighorn on his latest hunts that didn't work as planned, crippling his hind-leg and slowing down his movement underwater.
Early 894 Sayeth Aether arrived to the shores and shallow seas of his tribe and after weeks of deliberation, Shark came up with a proposal to try and establish an alliance with the neighboring land-dwelling Air dragons of the Measter tribe.
Freezan 895, first official diplomatic exchange was established between the two tribes and Shark ventured to meet with personally with Yriinth Tonitruum. The discussions didn't went as planned but a truce was established as well as limited trade of goods and food.
Sexuality
Reluctantly bisexual, currently only rarely indulges himself in any sexual activity outside of Chase and if so, usually with his favorite Clawstopper Barracuda.

Educated and passed as a Water Clawstoppers and simultaneously was tutored as a Dreamweaver.

Famous for leading his tribe and becoming one of the very few holders of the Clawmaster title
Failures & Embarrassments
His sexual remarks towards the current advisor Yriinth "Dawlight" Tonitruum on the first official meeting has almost cost him all the progress Sayeth Aether achieved in getting the two tribes to trade. While those same remarks are common amongst his kin, they most certainly were very insulting for the female-dominant Air dragons.
Mental Trauma
Decades of serving as a Water Clawstopper and seeing many dragons die has made him nearly psychopathic - Shark has difficulty feeling emptahy towards others or sensing subtle changes in mood of those he interacts with.
Morality & Philosophy
"No price is too high to get what I want. Thankfully nowadays all I want is to make these Moons-damned seas safer."
Taboos
Absolutely despises anyone that openly tries to mock him or talk about anything embarrassing to the point where he got himself into a fight over such minor insults - whether they were meant jokingly or not. His tribe thus talks about such things in private only.

Likes & Dislikes
Dislikes fruit of all kinds, doesn't even want to taste it. It looks so repulsive and smells acidic. Also by extension thinks that all dragons eating fruit are weird.
Likes resting and tutoring new dragons. But mostly because it is far easier than risk one's life hunting or defending against Freighorns. Also secretly likes and hopes to one day seduce Yriinth Tonitruum.
