Bartolomeo Yeardley

(a.k.a. Bart)

Bart is part vampire, part curmudgeon. He is a stubborn old goat who spends almost all of his time at various schools protecting his charges from predators. He's very good at it.
Bart is a bitten vampire, which is unusual in the clan structure of Midnight Town, which favors born vamps pretty extensively. He's thus younger than he looks, but even in vampire terms he's solidly upper middle aged.
Carries several umbrellas with him on his rounds to help students who might have forgotten their sun shields.
Is extraordinarily rules-bound and stubborn.
Probably had a family before his undeath, but they would have died years ago.
