Amethyst Tapping

Amethyst Tapping was the kind of girl who carried around three of the trendy water bottles with her, and drank from all of them profusely. She talks over her classmates, but they seem perfectly comfortable with this and talk over her right back as necessary.
She is on the dance committee, and is one of the less flaky members.
She has short blond hair and is a very athletic person.
She's a mermaid, but lives primarily on land due to certain cultural expectations. She fits in very well with these expectations and doesn't find them intrusive.
