Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Kay'zon's tall and lanky figure stands with a slight hunch, as if continuously leaning forward with interest. Thick dark brown dreadlocks, tied into a man-bun, sit atop a sharp and rather triangular face with tiny yellow eyes and a long nose. Kay'zon's right cheek is partially ripped off, exposing the sharp teeth contained within his thin but wide mouth, periodically making sucking sounds when he breathes. He likes to shock people and drink his potions through his wound. Kay'zon sometimes straps on a form fitting brass mask with a small valve covering this nasty wound, yet still providing access to drink through the hole in his cheek.
Kay'zon's dressed in a heavily used ironwood breastplate and a thick studded leather kilt. A plethora of bags and pouches hang around his thick waist and bandoleers of vials crisscross his torso. His long arms are hairless and covered in burn scars, and his calloused hands with thin fingers are deceivingly powerful.
His weapons of choice are explosive ceramic bombs, vials of magical elixirs and a nasty barbed harpoon tipped scizore that he straps around his left forearm.

Personal history

One of the early people who had an influence on Ka-zon was the dwarven alchemist Skali Skrykesgard.  After being captured by the dwarves of Jarrgard, Ka-zon served as a thrall initially, but they recognized his intelligence, and he was given to Skali to assist him around his laboratory.
Skali was involved in preparing the chemicals the dwarves used to speed their silver mining efforts.

Taboos

Kay'zon is a masochist. Due to his heritage, damage that he takes is like a dull pain. Fire and acid is a bright pain that brings stars to his eyes. He enjoys the dull pain (which heals quickly due to his ancestry) but nothing beats the searing pain of fire. This is the reason he plays with fire regardless that it causes him severe pain.

Motivation

Kay'zon likes when things go boom. He has heard of the secretive dwarven black powder that powers their explosive firearms. Someday, Kay'zon will get his hands on some of that black gold.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Kay'zon likes to experiment and rarely thinks about how his experiments might be dangerous. He is often his own test subject. The hole in his cheek was from mixing the bomb mixture in his mouth so he could spit it out (like a stream of fire). He miscalculated and it blew up in his mouth.
