I was born of two worlds. My father, a fetchling from the shadowlands and my mother, Sune, a Shadow Fey. I grew up in the lower court atmosphere, making friends with goblins and their like. I became accustomed to betrayal, flattery, bribes, and blood as the tools of my peers. I wasn't strong enough to earn a reputation as a strong arm fighter, however, I learned that with a little deception I could make my enemies turn on one another.
My unique style of getting things done earned me enough attention of the Winter Court to prove useful, but not enough to work my way up in status. Instead of focusing on power, like so many others who tried and failed before me, I decided to focus on faith. Sarastra seemed a good fit, but the church said I was not wise enough to cast even a single cantrip. Instead of becoming a cleric, they allowed me to become a Priest to spread her word. As it torned out, this path was more suited for me since I could fool people into thinking I was an actual cleric which I know Sarastra would secretly approve of.
