Elysium (also known as "the Eldest Angel", "the Eternal Light", "the Keeper of Eden") is one of the prime deities in the Eldar pantheon. She is recognized as the goddess of peace, purity, unity and charity.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Elysium's primary symbol is that of a white doorway-shaped shield with a golden-brown tree at its centre. White represents purity, innocence and goodness. The tree represents the eternal garden, Eden; Elysium's realm.

Tenets of Faith

Elysium differentiates from the other gods in one particular domain; she detests violence. So much in fact, that she will not even use it against all the evils of the world*. She is focused on spreading peace and unity, advocating acts of charity and kindness to her followers. Those who successfully dedicate themselves to her teachings are promised entry to Eden, where they will live eternally in peace, untouched by the horrors that could occur.

*Elysium's followers will NOT use violence of any kind, so if you are considering creating a character devout to her, consider that restriction well.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Elysium has foreseen a cataclysmic event that would end the universe as we know it, and while the other Aether gods prepare to fight said event, Elysium sealed off her realm and bound herself to it eternally. That means she can never leave, but it will be the only place which will survive the catastrophe. Until then, she wishes to gather as many beings under her wing as possible, so they can create a new world from the ashes, free from all evil and pain.
